Stimulite AB is a Swedish company based in Kungälv, just outside Gothenburg, that specializes in manufacturing high-quality seat cushions and other products based on the unique Stimulite honeycomb material. The material's unique design with hexagonal cells provides high load-bearing capacity and optimal pressure relief, while the perforated cells ensure effective moisture and heat control.
Stimulite was developed over three decades ago by Curt Landi and Susan Wilson in California and has since been refined and further developed by their company Supracor. Originally designed to prevent pressure ulcers in wheelchair users, the material has since found wider use in a number of areas.
In 2026, Supracor's Lifestyle products, mattresses and wheelchair cushions business was acquired by some of the company's top customers. Production was moved to Sweden under the name Stimulite AB, where the business now continues with a focus on quality and innovation.

My name is Charlotta Måhlin and for the past 25 years I have worked with the sale of medical technology, primarily prostheses and wheelchair cushions.
It gives me great joy to find the right product for the right user. Stimulite seat cushions give users the freedom to move in the best way with good stability. My education and background are both technical and medical as I have both a physiotherapy education and a civil engineering education.
I am a strong believer in talent, will and a good heart. Everyone who works at Stimulite works together with honesty and transparency. In order for us to produce products of the highest quality, all employees are handpicked and very important.
