Stimulite® Contoured

The Stimulite® Contoured seat cushion is recommended for paraplegics, tetraplegics and other people who are at high risk of pressure sores and need good positioning. A seat cushion with a pressure-equalizing area to surround the ischial tuberosity and coccyx and avoid “sitting through”.
The softer upper transitions to a firmer lower part for increased stability.
Thigh supports and leg dividers for good leg positioning without making lateral movements difficult.
Perforated cells in a honeycomb structure allow air circulation through the pad and wick away moisture.
The unique ventilation system reduces skin fragility and enables optimal conditions to prevent the occurrence of pressure sores.

Stimulite® Contoured with a rounded bottom for wheelchairs with an extreme hammock seat, offers the same benefits as the straight bottom.
Eliminates the need for a wooden board to level the seating surface.
A quick measurement of the wheelchair will determine the need for a round bottom. Place a measuring stick between the seat tubes and measure the distance from the center of the stick to the bottom of the seat fabric.
The round bottom is recommended for distances of more than 2.5 cm.

Washing instructions: Hand wash with mild detergent, rinse with water and shake dry.
Only use chlorine-free detergents.
Machine wash (30-40 degrees or 60 degrees 30 minutes), tumble dry low heat.
Virkon solution can be used to clean Stimulite® products from MRSA bacteria.
Disposal of the end-of-life product is left to plastic recycling.
